Common questions

What counts as an 'employee'?

Active W-2 employees on your payroll roster. 1099 contractors you run through Workstead count the same way. Archived workers don't count.

Is there a minimum seat count?

No. A one-person shop pays for one seat. If you grow from 3 to 10, you pay for 10. It scales with you — up and down.

When will prices be confirmed?

What happens when I cancel?

We give you a full CSV export of every payroll run, employee record, and timesheet. The tenant is wiped from our systems within 30 days.
